Optimising Microsoft 365 with SharePoint CRM & Automated Email Management

SAVERA was engaged to deliver a tailored Microsoft 365 solution for MacGeorge & Co, supporting customer data management and email record-keeping. The solution was designed to maximise the client’s existing Microsoft 365 investment without additional licensing costs. Key deliverables included:

  • Developing a custom SharePoint-based CRM system aligned with MacGeorge & Co’s business processes and information management requirements

  • Designing and implementing an automated email management solution using Power Automate to classify, process, and securely store email records within SharePoint

  • Applying an agile, collaborative approach to progressively refine solution features through direct client feedback and iterative deployment

Led the technical delivery of migrating data from an on-premises SharePoint platform to SharePoint Online, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with project objectives. Key contributions included:

  • Designing and refining migration infrastructure to optimise performance and reliability

  • Contributing to the design of the SharePoint content management system to support effective information governance

  • Troubleshooting complex issues such as throttling, migration speed, and data copy errors

  • Developing integrations specifically for the site provisioning solution using AvePoint, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Azure services

  • Implementing URL redirection solution to preserve legacy link functionality for seamless user experience

M365 Consultant

Ministry of Health, New Zealand

Worked hands-on across multiple Microsoft 365 modernisation initiatives, delivering technical solutions and operational improvements to support the Ministry’s Lotus Notes migration programme. Key contributions included:

  • Developing and implementing an automated migration solution that maximised parallel migrations to significantly improve throughput during the Lotus Notes to SharePoint Online migration, successfully managing the transfer of approximately 80 million documents using ShareGate

  • Leading the deployment of AvePoint Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 workloads to enhance data resilience and recovery capabilities

  • Collaborating with the Ministry’s Architecture team and actively participating in Architecture Review Group (ARG) sessions to present solution designs, address security and compliance requirements, and obtain critical certifications and approvals in line with New Zealand government standards

  • Producing clear technical documentation, operational handovers, and governance materials to support the long-term sustainability, maintainability, and consistent operation of delivered Microsoft 365 solutions

M365 Tenant Migration Technical Lead

Led key components of a Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration following a business merger, ensuring secure and efficient transition of services and workloads. Key contributions included:

  • Managing identity, data, and Azure DevOps migrations, providing technical leadership and troubleshooting support throughout the project
